Yogi’s Ark Lark was one of the ABC Saturday Superstar Movies, premiering on ABC-TV on 9/16/72. It also was an introduction to the 1973 cartoon series Yogi’s Gang which premiered a year later on ABC on 9/8/73. This is the original publicity drawing for Yogi’s Ark Lark. It is on 12 field animation paper and features Yogi Bear and 12 other classic H-B characters that appear in the film. The background layout for this piece is also included. This would have been used for all press and promo materials to publicize the show. Graphite with slight blue highlights. Images are 2″ – 3″. Amazing 13-character drawing.
