This is original character design artwork for Captain X, who would appear in the series’ fifth episode, “Pirate Island” (airdate: 10/13/68). This is amazing artwork from the hand of the great Alex Toth in graphite and marker on 12 field animation paper, dated November 13, 1967. Nice images ranging from 3″ to 8″. The artwork is signed by Toth.
